Raipur: The Chhattisgarh government will organise a state-level workers’ conference in Raipur on September 17 to mark Vishwakarma Jayanti, with Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attending as the chief guest.
The event will focus on recognising the contribution of workers across different sectors. Commerce and Industries, Public Enterprises, Commercial Tax (Excise) and Labour Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan will preside over the programme.
Workers’ Conference at Raipur Indoor Stadium
The conference will begin at 12 noon at the Sardar Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in Budhapara, Raipur.

Workers from sectors including construction, industry, agriculture and services are expected to be part of the state-level programme.

Vishwakarma Jayanti is associated with Lord Vishwakarma, traditionally regarded as the deity of craftsmanship, construction and creation. The state-level conference is being organised on the occasion to recognise workers and their contribution to Chhattisgarh.
