Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has extended greetings to people on Vishwakarma Jayanti and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, while announcing the launch of a state-wide initiative for free registration of more than 50 lakh rural properties.
The registration initiative will be launched from Indore on September 17 as part of the state’s Seva Sankalp campaign. BJP national president Nitin Nabin is scheduled to join the programme.
50 Lakh Rural Properties to Get Free Registration
According to the announcement, the state government will bear the cost of registration for more than 50 lakh rural properties under the initiative.

The programme involves:
- Free registration of eligible rural properties
- Issuance of ownership-related records to beneficiaries
- State government bearing the stamp and registration expenses
- State-wide implementation through designated revenue officials
The government has prepared 68.47 lakh rights records across 41,568 villages, according to reports on the programme.
Seva Sankalp Campaign to Begin on September 17
The free registration initiative is part of the Seva Sankalp campaign, which is scheduled to run from September 17 to October 17 across Madhya Pradesh.
The campaign includes a range of service and outreach activities, including:
- Service-oriented programmes
- Cleanliness activities
- Beneficiary outreach
- Public-awareness programmes
- Events related to government schemes
The state government has also planned special registration camps at the panchayat level in phases.
CM to Join Diya-Lighting Programme in Ujjain
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said he would participate with BJP national president Nitin Nabin in a diya-lighting programme in Ujjain on September 17.
Nabin is scheduled to participate in the ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ programme at Ramghat along the Shipra River.
Yadav also said that people across the state had been called upon to light lamps on the occasion of the Prime Minister’s birthday.
CM Extends Greetings on Vishwakarma Jayanti
In his message, Yadav described Vishwakarma Jayanti as an occasion associated with creativity, craftsmanship and skilled work.
He also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s contribution to India’s position internationally and said that the Prime Minister’s birthday was a significant occasion.
Yadav wished Modi good health and a long life and said his work towards nation-building was an inspiration.
The PM Vishwakarma scheme, launched on September 17, 2023, is separately aimed at supporting traditional artisans and craftspeople through recognition, skill training, toolkit incentives, credit support and marketing assistance.
