CII Delegation Meets CM Hemant Soren in Ranchi to Boost Investment and Industrial Growth in Jharkhand

Ranchi: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) delegation met Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Chief Minister’s residential office in Ranchi on Tuesday to discuss investment opportunities and industrial development in the state. The meeting focused on strengthening Jharkhand’s position as an emerging investment destination and accelerating industrial growth through collaborative efforts.

Focus on Industrial Development and Investment Opportunities

During the discussion, key issues related to industrial expansion, new investment possibilities, and policy support were taken up in detail. The CII representatives and the state government explored ways to enhance coordination between industry stakeholders and policymakers to create a more investor-friendly ecosystem in Jharkhand.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the state is actively working on structured development plans aimed at boosting industrial activity and attracting long-term investments.

Appreciation for Davos and UK Investment Outreach

The CII delegation congratulated Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Jharkhand’s participation in the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos and the recent successful UK visit.

They appreciated the state’s efforts in securing strong investment proposals and strengthening international engagement, which they said would help position Jharkhand as a competitive global investment hub.

Jharkhand Positioned as Emerging Investment Hub

Chief Minister Hemant Soren stated that Jharkhand’s presence at the World Economic Forum sent a strong message to global investors about the state’s vast potential. He said that the government is committed to making Jharkhand a preferred investment destination by improving infrastructure, governance, and policy frameworks.

He also reiterated that industrial development remains a top priority for the government.

Industry Collaboration for Policy Development

CII representatives appreciated the state government’s proactive approach toward industrial policy and investment facilitation. They expressed interest in working closely with the government as knowledge and industry partners in shaping future policies.

The delegation also discussed contributing to policy development processes to ensure better alignment between industry needs and government initiatives.
