Ranchi: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) delegation met Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Chief Minister’s residential office in Ranchi on Tuesday to discuss investment opportunities and industrial development in the state. The meeting focused on strengthening Jharkhand’s position as an emerging investment destination and accelerating industrial growth through collaborative efforts.

During the discussion, key issues related to industrial expansion, new investment possibilities, and policy support were taken up in detail. The CII delegation congratulated Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Jharkhand’s participation in the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos and the recent successful UK visit.
They appreciated the state’s efforts in securing strong investment proposals and strengthening international engagement, which they said would help position Jharkhand as a competitive global investment hub.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren stated that Jharkhand’s presence at the World Economic Forum sent a strong message to global investors about the state’s vast potential. He also reiterated that industrial development remains a top priority for the government.
