CM Mohan Yadav Highlights Adi Shankaracharya’s Legacy at Guru Samadhi Mandir Mahotsav in Haridwar

Haridwar: Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav, on Thursday addressed the Sant Sammelan held during the Guru Samadhi Mandir Murti Sthapana Mahotsav organised by Samnvay Seva Trust in Haridwar. The event witnessed the presence of eminent saints, spiritual leaders, and dignitaries from across the country.

On this occasion, Junapithadhishwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri Maharaj congratulated CM Dr. Yadav for the preparations and vision for the successful organisation of Simhastha 2028 in Madhya Pradesh.

Adi Shankaracharya’s Role in Strengthening Sanatan Culture

Addressing the gathering, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted the immense contribution of Adi Shankaracharya in elevating Sanatan culture to global prominence. He said that Madhya Pradesh holds a special connection with Adi Shankaracharya, making the state spiritually significant.

He emphasized that India takes pride in its Hindu identity and that Hindutva forms the foundation of national consciousness. The Chief Minister stated that the saint community and governments are working together to ensure the continuous flow and preservation of Sanatan traditions.

Dr. Yadav also noted that the Bharat Mata Mandir in Haridwar is playing a vital role in spreading positive energy and reinforcing cultural values across society and the nation.

Three-Day Guru Samadhi Mandir Murti Sthapana Mahotsav

The grand three-day Guru Samadhi Mandir Murti Sthapana Mahotsav is being organised at Sapt Rishi Ground, Haridwar, with devotion and spiritual fervour. The event aims to give a permanent tribute to the memories and teachings of Swami Satyamitranand Giri Ji Maharaj, founder of Bharat Mata Mandir.

The festival is being held under the guidance of Swami Avdheshanand Giri Maharaj, jointly organised by Samnvay Seva Trust and Bharat Mata Janhit Trust.

Presence of National Leaders and Spiritual Luminaries

Several prominent leaders and spiritual figures attended the programme, including:

  • Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami
  • Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan
  • Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha
  • RSS leader Dr. Krishna Gopal
  • Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev
  • VHP President Alok Kumar

Along with them, numerous saints, senior officials, and thousands of devotees participated in the event, making it a significant spiritual and cultural gathering.
