Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today gave fresh momentum to the comprehensive development of Farsabahar region in Jashpur district, inaugurating and laying the foundation stones for 13 key development projects worth ₹40.89 crore.
These include four completed projects worth ₹4.16 crore and nine new initiatives worth ₹36.72 crore, covering sectors such as road infrastructure, sanitation, and tribal welfare.
Infrastructure Projects Strengthening Rural Connectivity
Among the inaugurated works, three key road projects were opened to the public:
- 1.70 km road from Maskamara to Lavakera main road, constructed at a cost of ₹1.81 crore.
- Ambakchar approach road (1.00 km), built at ₹1.29 crore.
- Mundadih approach road (0.90 km), developed at a cost of ₹95.53 lakh.
These projects are expected to significantly improve rural mobility, market access, and connectivity in interior areas of Jashpur.

Foundation Stones Laid for Nine Major Development Works
Chief Minister Sai also laid the foundation stones for nine new projects worth ₹36.72 crore, including:
- Pamsala–Saraïtola Road (11.50 km) – ₹23.96 crore
- Rest House at Farsabahar – ₹1.72 crore
- Post-Matric Tribal Boys Hostels at Kolhenjhariya, Farsabahar, and Pandripani – ₹1.91 crore each
- Pre-Matric Tribal Boys Hostels at Lavakera, Pandripani, and Tapkara – ₹1.52 crore each
- Sludge Treatment Plant – ₹31.38 lakh
These projects underscore the government’s focus on education, sanitation, and infrastructure development, particularly in tribal and remote regions.
Leaders, Officials, and Citizens Join the Event
The inauguration ceremony witnessed participation from Member of Parliament Radheshyam Rathiya, MLA Gomati Sai, District Panchayat President Salik Sai, District Panchayat Vice-President Shaurya Pratap Singh Judev, Vice-President of Jashpur Municipal Council Yash Pratap Singh Judev, former Parliamentary Secretary Bharat Sai, Collector Rohit Vyas, and Superintendent of Police Shashimohan Singh, along with several local representatives and citizens.
Inclusive Growth and Tribal Welfare at the Core
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai reiterated his government’s commitment to inclusive and grassroots development, emphasizing that “development must reach the last person in the last village.”
He added that the new projects will boost rural infrastructure, enhance educational opportunities for tribal youth, and improve living standards across Jashpur district.
