GAIL Showcases Entrepreneurial Ventures at Entreprenaari Mela 2.0, Empowering Spouses of Employees

GAIL’s unique 'Abha' initiative supports entrepreneurial dreams, featuring successful ventures like Shilpi’s Creation and Cybernous at the Bangalore event.

Bangalore: GAIL (India) Limited took part in the Entreprenaari Mela 2.0, a two-day event organized by Aspire for Her, held at KTPO Grounds, Whitefield, Bangalore, on 3-4 December 2025. The event, aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs, provided GAIL an opportunity to showcase two of its unique entrepreneurial initiatives under the Abha program, which supports spouses of GAIL employees posted in remote locations across India.

Abha: Empowering Entrepreneurial Dreams

The Abha initiative by GAIL is designed to provide entrepreneurial support to spouses of employees posted in far-flung areas, helping them pursue their business aspirations. This year, GAIL showcased two innovative ventures at the Mela:

  1. Shilpi’s Creation: A clothing brand that features elegant Bengali sarees and handmade jewelry. Shilpi’s Creation has been a hit at the event, with impressive sales and positive customer feedback.
  2. Cybernous: An information security consulting firm that offers services to safeguard businesses in the digital age. The stall attracted significant leads for Cybernous, with the venture gaining traction among visitors interested in its services.

GAIL’s Commitment to Supporting Employees and Families

Mr. Ashish Kesarwani, Officer-In-Charge of GAIL’s Bangalore Zonal Office, along with his spouse, Nisha Kesarwani, visited the stall during the event. Reflecting on the Abha initiative, Mr. Kesarwani remarked that GAIL stands out as the first organization in the oil and gas sector to offer such a unique and thoughtful support system for employees’ families, especially in remote postings. The initiative has not only empowered spouses but has also fostered entrepreneurial spirit and self-sufficiency.

Star-Studded Visitor List Adds Glamour to the Event

The GAIL stall at the Entreprenaari Mela also attracted prominent personalities, including popular social media influencer Ayo Shraddha from Bangalore and youth icon Disha Madan, who were all praise for GAIL’s initiatives. Their visits added to the event’s glamour and highlighted the importance of supporting women-led entrepreneurial ventures.
