Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday held a Janata Darshan at Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur, where he personally heard the grievances of around 200 people and directed officials to ensure timely and effective resolution of their complaints.

The Chief Minister assured the visitors that the government was working with sensitivity to address their concerns. He instructed officials to ensure that every complaint is resolved in a time-bound, transparent, qualitative and satisfactory manner.

CM Yogi Personally Listens to Public Grievances

The Janata Darshan was organised in front of the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan on the Gorakhnath Temple premises.

CM Yogi personally reached out to the people seated there and interacted with them individually. He asked visitors about their place of residence and the problems they were facing.

After listening carefully to each person, the Chief Minister handed over their applications to the concerned officials and issued directions for immediate action. He also reassured several complainants, saying that they should not worry and that their problems would be addressed.

Officials Told to Ensure Real and Satisfactory Relief

CM Yogi instructed officials not to treat public complaints as mere applications requiring formal action.

He directed them to:

  • Examine the actual circumstances behind every complaint.
  • Ensure time-bound and transparent disposal of grievances.
  • Provide genuine relief to the affected person.
  • Ensure that the final resolution is satisfactory to the complainant.
  • Prevent people from making unnecessary rounds of government offices.

The Chief Minister stressed that grievance redressal should result in actual justice and relief, rather than merely completing official procedures.

Strict Action Ordered on Land Encroachment Complaints

Several people approached the Chief Minister with complaints related to land encroachment.

CM Yogi listened to these complaints seriously and instructed officials to take effective action in such cases.

He also directed that strict legal action be taken against those found responsible, while ensuring that the affected people receive appropriate relief.

The Chief Minister made it clear that members of the public should not have to repeatedly visit government offices to get their legitimate grievances addressed.

CM Yogi Assures Financial Help for Critical Medical Treatment

People suffering from serious illnesses also approached the Janata Darshan seeking financial assistance for medical treatment.

CM Yogi assured them that lack of money would not prevent anyone from receiving necessary treatment. He said the government would provide adequate financial assistance to eligible patients.

He directed officials to expedite the process of obtaining hospital treatment estimates and send the required documents to the government so that financial assistance could be sanctioned from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund.

The initiative is aimed at ensuring that patients in need can access treatment without financial constraints becoming a barrier.

CM Yogi Offers Prayers at Gorakhnath Temple

Before the Janata Darshan, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath followed his traditional morning routine at Gorakhnath Temple.

He offered prayers to Guru Gorakhnath, regarded as an incarnation of Lord Shiva, and paid his respects before the statue of his spiritual guru, Mahant Avaidyanath. After the prayers, the Chief Minister visited the temple’s cowshed and participated in Goseva.

He lovingly interacted with the cattle and personally fed them jaggery.

Focus on Sensitive and Responsive Governance

The Janata Darshan reflected the Chief Minister’s emphasis on direct interaction with citizens and prompt grievance redressal.

By directing officials to investigate complaints, provide timely relief and take strict action where required, CM Yogi stressed the importance of accountable and citizen-focused governance.

The Chief Minister’s instructions covered a range of public concerns, from land-related disputes to medical assistance, with an emphasis on ensuring that people receive meaningful solutions to their problems.
