Janata Darshan in Gorakhpur: CM Yogi Adityanath Pledges Housing, Marriage Assistance, and Medical Support to Citizens

Gorakhpur: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a public grievance hearing (Janata Darshan) at Gorakhnath Temple on Monday morning, meeting nearly 200 citizens and listening to their concerns. During the interaction, the CM assured assistance to the needy for housing, financial support for daughters’ marriages, and treatment of serious illnesses, reaffirming the government’s commitment to welfare schemes and timely problem resolution.

CM Engages Directly with Citizens

The Janata Darshan was held at Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan, where the Chief Minister personally met people, listened attentively to their petitions, and issued instructions to concerned administrative and police officials for prompt action. CM Yogi emphasized that all grievances should be addressed in a fair, transparent, and timely manner, ensuring satisfaction for all petitioners.

Housing Assistance and Marriage Support

During the session, a senior woman requested help regarding housing. The CM immediately assured her that she would be provided accommodation under government schemes and directed officials to initiate the process on the spot. Another woman sought financial assistance for her daughter’s marriage. CM Yogi instructed officers to ensure that she receives support under the Marriage Grant Scheme, reflecting the government’s focus on social welfare initiatives for vulnerable families.

Medical Aid for Serious Illnesses

Several citizens approached the CM for financial help to cover critical medical treatments. Chief Minister Yogi assured them that lack of funds would not hinder anyone’s treatment. Officials were directed to quickly prepare estimates for high-level medical care and release the necessary funds promptly, ensuring that no patient suffers due to financial constraints.

Addressing Other Public Concerns

A complaint regarding difficulties in obtaining an electricity connection was also raised. CM Yogi instructed officers to ensure that the connection is provided without delay. Regarding land encroachment issues, he directed strict action against anyone forcibly occupying another person’s property.

During the event, CM Yogi also interacted warmly with children who accompanied their families, blessing them and distributing chocolates, showcasing his personal touch and accessibility as a leader.

CM Emphasizes Transparency and Swift Problem-Solving

Addressing the gathering, CM Yogi stated that the government is committed to resolving every public issue with transparency and efficiency. He reassured citizens that the administration is dedicated to ensuring welfare benefits reach all eligible and needy individuals, reinforcing the state’s resolve for inclusive development.
