Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday met citizens from across the state during the “Janata Darshan” programme in Lucknow, where he heard their grievances and directed officials to ensure their timely resolution.
According to an official statement, the Chief Minister interacted with complainants personally and issued instructions for immediate action in several cases.
Financial Aid Assured for B.Tech Aspirant Student
During the interaction, a student from Lucknow, accompanied by her elderly mother, informed the Chief Minister that she had secured good marks in the Intermediate examination but was unable to pursue a B.Tech degree due to financial constraints.
After reviewing her academic records, CM Yogi Adityanath directed officials to facilitate her admission in a suitable institution in Lucknow and assured full support for her higher education.
He emphasized that no student should be deprived of education due to financial hardship and reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting deserving students.
Complaints on Police Action and Encroachment Cases
Several citizens raised concerns regarding alleged police inaction and disputes related to illegal encroachments during the programme.
The Chief Minister reviewed these complaints and instructed senior officials to closely monitor all such cases and ensure appropriate legal action wherever required.
Officials present at the event were directed to examine each application thoroughly and provide relief to affected individuals as per established procedures.
CM Urges Use of Local Administrative Channels
CM Yogi Adityanath also advised petitioners to first approach district and divisional-level authorities for grievance redressal before coming to the state headquarters.
He said many issues can be resolved at the local level through the administrative machinery, reducing delays and improving efficiency.
Health Advisory Amid Heatwave Conditions
Referring to the prevailing heatwave, the Chief Minister urged citizens to take necessary precautions and take care of their health while travelling or attending public grievance meetings.
He also encouraged people to seek timely assistance from local administrative offices for faster resolution of issues.

The Janata Darshan programme serves as a regular public outreach platform where citizens can directly present their grievances before the state leadership.
