CONCOR Appoints V. Kashiho Sangtam as Non-Official Director for 3-Year Term

New Delhi: Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) has appointed Mr. V. Kashiho Sangtam as a Non-official Director on its Board of Directors for a period of three years.

The appointment has been made pursuant to an order issued by the Ministry of Railways on August 13, 2026. The appointment is effective immediately and will continue for three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

CONCOR Discloses Appointment to Stock Exchanges

CONCOR has informed BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited about the appointment under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The company said it is completing the necessary procedural formalities under the Companies Act, 2013 and applicable SEBI Listing Regulations. CONCOR will submit the required disclosures to the stock exchanges within the stipulated timelines.

Ministry of Railways Order Leads to Appointment

The appointment was made following the Ministry of Railways’ order communicated to CONCOR on August 13, 2026.

The order states that the President of India is pleased to appoint Mr. V. Kashiho Sangtam as Non-official Director on the Board of CONCOR. The tenure will remain effective for three years from the date of appointment or until further directions from the government, whichever is earlier.

Focus on Corporate Governance and Oversight

The induction of a Non-official Director is part of the governance structure of the public sector enterprise. The appointment is expected to support Board-level oversight, strategic planning and corporate governance at CONCOR.

The company is also undertaking the required compliance procedures to formally complete the appointment in accordance with applicable corporate and securities regulations.

Regulatory Compliance

CONCOR has disclosed the development under Regulation 30 of the SEBI LODR Regulations, 2015.

The company is completing the necessary procedures under the Companies Act, 2013, and SEBI regulations. Further disclosures related to the appointment will be submitted to the stock exchanges within the prescribed timeline.

The August 14, 2026 intimation was issued by Harish Chandra, Chief Operating Director (Finance) and Company Secretary of CONCOR.
