New Delhi: The Ministry of Railways has approved the appointment of Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) Director (Infrastructure, Marketing & Operations) Vijoy Kumar Singh as Director (Projects & Services) with additional charge for three months. The move is aimed at ensuring smooth functioning and continuity of the company’s projects and services division during a transitional period.
The decision was communicated through a Railway Board order dated July 24, 2026, issued under the Ministry of Railways.
Railway Board Assigns Additional Charge to Vijoy Kumar Singh
According to the Railway Board order, Vijoy Kumar Singh will take over the additional responsibility of Director (Projects & Services), CONCOR, while continuing his existing role as Director (Infrastructure, Marketing & Operations).
The additional charge will begin from:
- August 1, 2026, or the date he assumes charge, whichever is earlier
- Duration: Three months
- Validity: Until further orders from the Ministry of Railways
The Ministry has directed CONCOR to communicate the official date of Singh’s assumption of charge for the additional post.

The additional appointment was approved by the Ministry of Railways (MOR) through order number 2021/E(O)II/40/27 dated July 24, 2026.

- Addressed to the Chairman and Managing Director of CONCOR
- Shared with concerned officials of the Ministry of Railways, Railway Board, and Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT)
The appointment allows Singh to oversee the Projects & Services portfolio while managing his existing responsibilities at CONCOR.
CONCOR Files Disclosure Under SEBI Regulations
CONCOR informed the stock exchanges about the appointment in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
