CONCOR Q1 FY27 Results: Net Profit Rises 7.73% to ₹277.65 Crore, Declares ₹1.60 Interim Dividend

 EXIM segment drives growth as Container Corporation of India reports consolidated profit of ₹268.90 crore and continues focus on multimodal logistics expansion.

New Delhi: Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR), a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Railways, has announced its unaudited financial results for the first quarter of FY27 ended June 30, 2026.

The company reported a standalone net profit of ₹277.65 crore, registering a growth of 7.73% year-on-year compared with ₹257.71 crore in the same quarter last year.

On a consolidated basis, CONCOR posted a net profit of ₹268.90 crore during Q1 FY27.

The company’s performance was supported by steady growth in operations, with the EXIM (Export-Import) segment emerging as the key contributor.

  • Revenue from Operations: ₹2,154.04 crore
    • Q1 FY26: ₹2,149.53 crore
    • Growth: 0.21%
  • Total Income: ₹2,247.91 crore

  • Total Expenses: ₹1,883.30 crore

For Q1 FY27, CONCOR reported the following consolidated results:

  • Revenue from Operations: ₹2,159.76 crore
  • Total Income: ₹2,245.26 crore
  • Profit Before Tax: ₹360.11 crore
  • Net Profit: ₹268.90 crore

The consolidated performance reflects the contribution of CONCOR’s subsidiaries and joint venture companies.

EXIM Segment Remains Major Growth Driver

CONCOR’s EXIM segment continued to be the primary contributor to revenue and profitability during the quarter.

Segment Performance (Standalone):

EXIM Segment

  • Revenue: ₹1,433.54 crore
  • Profit Before Tax (PBT): ₹312.28 crore

Domestic Segment

  • Revenue: ₹720.50 crore
  • Profit Before Tax (PBT): ₹25.36 crore

The EXIM segment’s strong performance supported overall profitability during the quarter.

CONCOR Declares ₹1.60 Interim Dividend for FY27

The Board of Directors of CONCOR has approved an interim dividend of ₹1.60 per equity share with a face value of ₹5 for FY 2026-27.

Dividend Details:

  • Dividend Rate: 32%
  • Total Dividend Amount: ₹121.86 crore
  • Record Date: August 4, 2026
  • Payment Date: On or after August 12, 2026

The dividend reflects the company’s continued commitment towards providing returns to shareholders.

Operational Developments and Corporate Updates

Bonus Shares Issued

CONCOR allotted 15,23,23,587 fully paid-up bonus shares in a 1:4 ratio on July 7, 2025.

Following the allotment:

  • Paid-up share capital increased to ₹380.81 crore.
  • Total equity shares stood at 76,16,17,935 shares with a face value of ₹5 each.

Land License Fee Accounting Update

CONCOR has accounted for Land License Fee (LLF) of ₹112.87 crore for Q1 FY27 based on its assessment under the Master Circular dated October 4, 2022.

However, the company stated that:

  • The LLF amount is not final.
  • Right of Use (ROU) assets have not been recognised due to uncertainty regarding lease terms.

Auditors have highlighted this matter as an Emphasis of Matter related to accounting treatment under Ind AS 116.

Auditor Highlights Regulatory Compliance Issue

Auditors also noted that as of June 30, 2026, CONCOR had only one Independent Director on its Board.

The observation relates to compliance requirements under:

  • Section 149(4) of the Companies Act, 2013.
  • SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulations.

CONCOR’s consolidated operations include several subsidiaries and joint venture companies.

  • CONCOR Air Ltd. (100% ownership)
  • SIDCUL CONCOR Infra Company Ltd. (74% ownership)
  • Punjab Logistics Infrastructure Ltd. (51% ownership)

  • Gateway Terminals India Pvt. Ltd. (26%)
  • Star Track Terminals Pvt. Ltd. (49%)
  • TCI-CONCOR Multimodal Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (49%)

Other Key Disclosures by CONCOR

The company provided several additional updates along with its Q1 FY27 results:

  • No material impact from the implementation of New Labour Codes, 2025 on current financial results.
  • The company has no outstanding loans, therefore no defaults on debt securities.
  • No deviation in fund utilisation was reported during the quarter.

CONCOR said it continues to focus on expanding its multimodal logistics network, improving EXIM and domestic operations, and maintaining shareholder value through consistent financial performance and dividend distribution.
