The deputation tenure of Gyanendra Kumar Verma as Inspector General (IG) of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has been extended for two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training on October 5, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Verma for two years beyond 26.01.2025.
