Five Air Force personnel lost their lives, while the co-pilot survived and is undergoing treatment. The Indian Air Force has ordered a Court of Inquiry to determine the exact cause of the crash.

Casualties Confirmed by the Indian Air Force

The Indian Air Force confirmed the death of five personnel:

  • Squadron Leader Prashant Singh
  • Flight Lieutenant Shubham Kumar
  • Sergeant Jitendra Sharma
  • Agniveervayu Khemaram Kumawat
  • Agniveervayu Danish Alam

The co-pilot survived the crash and is currently receiving medical treatment.

IAF AN-32 Crash: Investigation Ordered

The Indian Air Force has announced a Court of Inquiry to investigate the accident.

Key objectives of the inquiry include:

  • Determining the technical cause of the crash.
  • Examining weather and operational conditions.
  • Reviewing aircraft maintenance records.
  • Assessing possible mechanical or human factors.

The IAF has requested that no conclusions be drawn until the investigation is completed.
