New Delhi: Sadananda Mukherjee, Executive Director (Finance) at Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), has assumed additional charge as Member (Finance) with effect from April 25, 2026.
The appointment marks an important administrative development within the public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Power.
Arup Sarkar Repatriated to NSPCL
This change follows the repatriation of Arup Sarkar, who was serving as Member (Finance) at DVC.
He was officially relieved of his duties on April 24, 2026, and has returned to his parent organization, NSPCL.

Mukherjee to Oversee Financial Operations and Governance
In his additional role, Sadananda Mukherjee will be responsible for overseeing key financial functions of DVC, including:
- Financial management and planning
- Corporate governance
- Strategic financial oversight
His extensive experience in finance is expected to ensure continuity and stability in the organization’s financial operations.
