New Delhi: GAIL (India) Limited has been honoured with the Special Jury Recognition Award under the category ‘The Game Changer’ at the SAP ACE Awards 2025 for its landmark digital transformation initiative, Project Navodaya—a complete migration to SAP S/4 HANA on Cloud. The award ceremony took place on 14 November 2025 in Mumbai, where the GAIL team received the prestigious recognition.

Project Navodaya: A Major Leap in Digital Transformation

Project Navodaya represents a full-scale overhaul of GAIL’s enterprise systems on the cloud through the RISE with SAP S/4 HANA platform. Completed within a record 12-month timeframe, the project marks one of the fastest and most comprehensive cloud migrations undertaken by a major Indian PSU.

This transformation is more than a technological shift—it positions GAIL as an intelligent, agile, and future-ready enterprise capable of adopting next-generation solutions such as AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics. It also lays a strong digital foundation for future sustainability initiatives aligned with the company’s long-term strategic roadmap.
