Senior IRS (Income Tax) officer Gangadhar Panda of the 1993 batch has been appointed as Principal Commissioner of Income Tax (OSD) in the office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (CCIT), Delhi region, following his return from deputation. He previously served as Additional Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Delhi, and has rejoined on personal grounds.
Panda holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, a master’s degree from Harvard University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Applications from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
His diverse academic and administrative experience is expected to strengthen the Delhi Income Tax region’s operations and strategic oversight.
