CM Mohan Yadav Meets Meritorious Students, Highlights Youth Role in Nation Building and Democracy

Students from Agar-Malwa and Jabalpur visit Madhya Pradesh Assembly, witness proceedings and learn about legislative processes and democratic values.

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that active participation in nation-building is the identity of an aware and responsible citizen. He emphasized that students are the creators of the country’s bright future and understanding democracy, constitutional values and government functioning is essential for the new generation.

The Chief Minister made these remarks while interacting with students from Agar-Malwa and Jabalpur who visited the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly during the ongoing monsoon session.

Assembly is the Best School to Understand Democracy: CM Mohan Yadav

Addressing the students, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the Legislative Assembly is not only a place where laws are made but also an important institution for learning about democratic traditions.

He explained that students should understand:

  • How government systems function.
  • How rules and laws are framed.
  • How discussions and decisions take place in a democratic setup.
  • The importance of parliamentary traditions.

The Chief Minister said connecting the younger generation with democratic institutions is the need of the hour.

Over 90 Students Visit Assembly from Agar-Malwa and Jabalpur

More than 50 meritorious students from different areas of Agar-Malwa district and 40 students from STEM Field International School, Jabalpur met Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav at Committee Room No. 1 of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly.

The students attended the Assembly’s monsoon session proceedings and got an opportunity to closely observe legislative activities and understand the working of parliamentary democracy.

The visit was organized under the guidance of:

  • Agar MLA Madhav Singh (Madhu Gehlot)
  • Jabalpur Cantt MLA Ashok Rohani

Students Share Their First Assembly Experience

During their interaction with the Chief Minister, students shared their experiences of visiting the Assembly for the first time.

They said that watching the proceedings of the House closely was an inspiring and educational experience. The students learned about:

  • Legislative discussions.
  • Debate procedures.
  • Decision-making processes.
  • The functioning of democratic institutions.

The students expressed enthusiasm about understanding how governance works at the state level.

CM Appreciates Students’ Creativity and Innovation

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav appreciated the talent, creativity and innovative thinking of the students.

During the meeting, students presented the Chief Minister with:

  • Self-prepared educational models.
  • Attractive handmade scenery and creative projects.

The Chief Minister praised their efforts and wished them success in their future endeavors.

Government Focuses on Increasing Youth Participation

CM Mohan Yadav said that the state government is continuously working to increase youth participation in the development process of Madhya Pradesh.

He highlighted that educational visits to democratic institutions help students develop:

  • Leadership skills.
  • Constitutional awareness.
  • Respect for democratic values.
  • A sense of responsibility towards society and the nation.

The Chief Minister encouraged students to continue learning and play an active role in shaping the future of the country.

Students as Future Builders of India

Dr. Mohan Yadav said that today’s students will become the foundation of tomorrow’s India. He urged young citizens to understand democratic responsibilities and contribute positively to society.

He added that creating awareness among students about governance, laws and public institutions will help build a stronger and more informed generation.
