  • Paper 1: 50 Multiple Choice Questions
  • Paper 2: 100 Multiple Choice Questions
  • Each correct answer carries 2 marks
  • Total duration of the exam: 180 minutes

This exam plays a crucial role in certifying candidates’ eligibility for appointment as Assistant Professors in state universities and for pursuing doctoral research through PhD programs.

Why This Matters: Developmental Impact

This move reflects JPSC’s responsive governance approach and ensures a fair chance for aspiring educators and researchers across Jharkhand. The extended deadline supports the state’s higher education framework by fostering wider participation in academia. Such reforms promote both inclusivity and institutional development, aligning with national goals for educational excellence.
