Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced a focused initiative to preserve and promote places in Madhya Pradesh associated with the life and legacy of Lord Krishna. Speaking at a spiritual event in Vrindavan, he emphasized that the state government is committed to developing these historically significant locations into major pilgrimage destinations, adding spiritual and cultural depth to tourism in the state.

India Advancing with Visionary Leadership

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav praised the current era as one of national transformation, guided by the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. He highlighted how India’s rising global stature is the result of timely and bold decisions made in the national interest, reflecting the strength of its cultural roots and spiritual identity.

Madhya Pradesh’s Connection to Krishna’s Life Journey

During his speech, Dr. Yadav recalled that many significant episodes from Lord Krishna’s life — such as his education at the Sandipani Ashram, friendship with Sudama, marriage to Rukmini, and receiving the Sudarshan Chakra — are linked to Madhya Pradesh. These events, he noted, make Madhya Pradesh a land that shares the spiritual essence of Gokul and Vrindavan.

Support for Cultural Revival and Cow Protection Praised

Dr. Yadav visited Kerav Nagar in Vrindavan Dham, where he attended the Srimad Bhagwat Katha delivered by Sadhvi Saraswati Didi. She lauded Dr. Yadav’s efforts in promoting Indian culture, protecting cows, developing Krishna Padey, and establishing the Vedic clock. In a gesture of solidarity, the Madhvi Saraswati Foundation presented a cheque of Rs. 11 lakh to support the Sainik Sahayata Kosh. Dr. Yadav matched the amount on behalf of the Madhya Pradesh Government, bringing the total contribution to Rs. 22 lakh.

Tribute and Tree Plantation in Memory of Janak Singh Sisodiya

Continuing his visit, Dr. Yadav paid tribute to the late Mr. Janak Singh Sisodiya, father of Mr. Prakash Sisodiya, RSS Regional Service Chief, at his native village of Bakda near Bhragra. The Chief Minister planted a sapling at the Samadhi Sthal as a mark of respect and environmental commitment.

A Warm Reception in Uttar Pradesh

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav received a grand welcome at Agra Airport by Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Ministers Mr. Keshav Prasad Maurya and Mr. Brajesh Pathak. He expressed heartfelt gratitude for the hospitality extended during his visit. Accompanying him was Madhya Pradesh’s Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Mr. Rakesh Shukla. Upon his arrival in Vrindavan, Dr. Yadav was greeted warmly by public representatives and senior administrative officials from Uttar Pradesh.
