During the address, Mr. Kumar highlighted the state’s transformative progress in women’s empowerment, stating that women in Bihar are now visible in every field—from education to administration. “There was a time when women couldn’t step out after dusk. Today, they walk freely even at night. This is the new Bihar,” he stated proudly.
Criticism of Opposition and Political Legacy Politics
The Chief Minister took a dig at opposition leaders, particularly Mr. Lalu Prasad Yadav, for promoting family-centric politics. He contrasted it with his own governance model, focused on equitable development and institutional integrity, stating that development under his leadership has prioritized all sections of society.
Public Grievance Redressal and Administrative Accountability
Calling for a responsive government, Mr. Kumar urged administrative officials to resolve public complaints immediately. He stressed that field officers and local representatives must actively listen to citizens’ concerns and ensure prompt solutions at the grassroots level.

Mr. Kumar expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi for the central government’s continued support in Bihar’s development journey. He noted that cooperative federalism is crucial in achieving long-term goals like job creation, infrastructure growth, and social upliftment.

In a candid admission, Mr. Kumar said that joining the RJD twice was a mistake and described it as a disruptive period. “Now, everything is fine. The focus is on governance and development,” he added, reaffirming his commitment to clean politics.
