The Social Welfare Department of Government of Uttar Pradesh has launched a scheme to provide free career guidance and coaching to civil services aspirants. The scheme is named “UP Free IAS coaching” for IAS, PCS and SSC aspirants of Uttar Pradesh. One who wants to have more details can visit the official site socialwelfareup.upsdc.gov.in
Who can apply
There are some eligibility criteria as one needs to be a native citizen of UP, he/she must belong to SC/ST/OBC to apply for the scheme, Annual income of parents should not be more than 6 lakhs rupees. Candidates who will clear the entrance examination will be eligible for this scheme.
How to apply
The application can be submitted through the official website of Dept of social welfare that is socialwelfareup.upsdc.gov.in and applicants can submit their form from October 11 to November 8. Admit cards will be generated till November 15, exam will be held on November 20. Examination will be of 120 minutes in which McQ pattern will be followed and there will be no negative marking for the wrong question.
