The visit highlighted the state government’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure while preserving Vadnagar’s cultural legacy.

Multi-Modal Transport Hub: A Game-Changer for Vadnagar’s Connectivity

The centerpiece of the visit was the inspection of the multi-modal transport hub being constructed opposite Vadnagar railway station. Designed to serve as a crucial link between the railway station and major city attractions, the project is valued at approximately Rs 17 crore.

Chief Minister Patel instructed officials from both the Railways and the Gujarat Tourism Department to ensure seamless coordination and integration, emphasizing the importance of timely completion without compromising quality. The hub will provide amenities such as ample parking space, rest areas, a cafeteria, and will feature the plantation of over 2,000 trees to enhance the environment.
