Gujarat: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel held a high-level meeting with Yuvraj Narayan, Group CEO of DP World in Gandhinagar to explore new opportunities for strengthening Gujarat’s position as a global logistics and trade hub.

The discussions focused on expanding port infrastructure, improving trade efficiency, and accelerating large-scale economic development across the state.

Focus on Gujarat’s Logistics and Trade Expansion

During the meeting, the Chief Minister highlighted the long-standing partnership between Gujarat and DP World. He noted that multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) signed during the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit have already laid the groundwork for major infrastructure projects.

These initiatives cover key sectors such as:

  • Ports and port-led development
  • Logistics parks
  • Rail freight connectivity
  • Special economic zones

The projects are expected to significantly improve connectivity and strengthen Gujarat’s trade ecosystem.

  • Upcoming greenfield terminal at Tuna Tekra near Kandla Port

These projects aim to:

  • Boost export capacity
  • Reduce logistics costs

Officials stated that the ongoing and upcoming infrastructure projects are expected to:
