New Delhi: Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) has announced the launch of SAKSHAM 2.0, an expanded and upgraded phase of its flagship CSR skill development programme. The initiative was formalised through an MoU signed at HURL’s Corporate Office, marking a significant step toward empowering unemployed and underprivileged youth across Gorakhpur, Sindri, Dhanbad, Barauni, and Begusarai.

The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Siba Prasad Mohanty, Managing Director, HURL, along with senior officials from both HURL and the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET)—the technical partner and training facilitator for the programme.

A Major Step Forward After the Success of SAKSHAM 1.0

Building on the impactful achievements of SAKSHAM 1.0, the new phase is designed to be more comprehensive, industry-aligned, and inclusive. SAKSHAM 2.0 aims to address the growing demand for skilled manpower in manufacturing and petrochemical sectors while uplifting youth from socio-economically weaker regions in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand.
