Senior IAS officer and former chief executive officer of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Anil Kumar Singhal has been appointed as Principal Secretary to Governor of Andhra Pradesh Biswabhusan Harichandan.
He took charge from Special Chief Secretary R P Sisodia on Saturday. Mr. Singhal had twice served as the executive officer of the TTD in the past. During his first stint as TTD EO between May 2017 till October 2020, Anil Singhal is credited with bringing transparency at all levels of administration with the TTD, the richest Hindu temples trust in the world.
The officer was once again appointed as the executive officer (Full additional charge) by the state government of Andhra Pradesh for 12 days between December 22, 2022, till January 2nd, 2023, for a brief period during the absence of the present TTD EO AV Dharma Reddy.
