As many as 20 IAS officers of Bihar cadre will work as observers in the upcoming Assembly elections.
The Election Commission has started preparations for the assembly elections to be held in 5 states – Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Rajasthan and Telangana, in the coming days.
The Commission has roped in 20 IAS officers to work as observers.
The training of all these officers is in New Delhi on 6 October. For this, information has been given by the Commission to all the IAS officers who have been made observers.
The bureaucrats who have been called include junior ones serving as settlement officers to special secretary, director, joint secretary, secretary, and principal secretary rank officers.
