2011 batch Haryana cadre IAS officer Ashwani Kumar Gupta has been transferred and posted as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), Haryana Urban Development Authority (HSVP), formerly known as HUDA, Panchkula, Haryana. Haryana Government has issued order regarding this.
HSVP now has two Chief Vigilance Officer. In February last, the state government also appointed a retired officer Shashi Kant Sharma as CVO in HSVP.
Mr Gupta became IAS officer from non-HCS (non-Haryana Civil Service) quota in January this year. He was presently working as Additional Managing Director, Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC).
In March this year, Mr Gupta was allotted the 2011 batch of IAS by the Central Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). Prior to that, Gupta was appointed to the IAS by the Central Government on 23 January.
