The Chief Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration was announced by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh on Civil Services Day. This year the name of Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board has been announced for this award. Santosh Kumar, a 2014 batch IAS, has been the Secretary and Controller of Examinations of the Staff Selection Board for the last two years and under his guidance, the Board has set many records and has brought laurels to the name of the Board in the whole country.
In the month of February of 2020, the board was accused of rigging in the examination of LDC and that examination had to be canceled. After the same scam, the Arunachal government had given the joint charge of Secretary and Controller of Examinations to IAS officer Santosh Kumar. As soon as he took charge, he came into the limelight when the Staff Selection Board had published the result within 24 hours. Since then, the board has broken many of its own records and created new records.
Keeping in view this record of Staff Selection Board, Arunachal Government has announced Chief Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration this year to Staff Selection Board.
