Three IAS officers posted in the union territory of Jammu & Kashmir were granted an additional year to their service.
The proposal for extension was made by the Department of Personnel Training.
The officers with an extension to the tenure includes Basharat Qayoom (IAS:2016) from the Jharkhand cadre, Akshay Labroo (IAS:2018) from Tripura cadre and Athar Aamir UI Shafi Khan (IAS:2016) from Rajasthan cadre.
The extension was provided after the approval of the Appointments Committee.
