Modi Government Did the Bureaucratic Reshuffle, IAS P K Tripathi Named As Secretary (Coordination) Cabinet Secretariat

1987 batch IAS officer of AGMUT cadre, Pradip Kumar Tripathi has been appointed as Secretary (Coordination) in Cabinet Secretariat.

In a big move in bureaucracy, the Modi government has been cleared the appointment and reshuffle of Secretary level posts in various departments and ministries.

1987 batch IAS officer of AGMUT cadre, Pradip Kumar Tripathi has been appointed as Secretary (Coordination) in Cabinet Secretariat. He is presently working as Secretary, DoPT under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.

1987 batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre, Ms Neel Kamal Darbari has been appointed as Chairperson, National Authority Chemical Weapons Convention (NACWC) in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India. She is presently Managing Director, Small Farmers’ Agri-Business Consortium, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.

Ms S Radha Chauhan (IAS:1988:UP) has been appointed as Secretary, DoPT Vice Pradip Kumar Tripathi (IAS:1987:AGMUT) upon his appointment as Secretary (Coordination), Cabinet Secretariat. Presently, she is serving in the cadre.
Devendra Kumar Singh (IAS:1989:KL) has been appointed as Secretary-General, National Human Rights Commission in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India. Presently, he is Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation.
Gyanesh Kumar (IAS:1988:KL) has been appointed as Secretary in the Ministry of Cooperation vice Devendra Kumar Singh (IAS:1989:KL) upon his appointment as Secretary, NHRC. Kumar will also hold the additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
Alkesh Kumar Sharma (IAS:1990:KL) has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology. Presently, he is Secretary (Coordination), Cabinet Secretariat.
Sanjay Kumar (IAS:1990:BH) has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Youth Affairs. Presently, he is serving in the cadre state of Bihar.
SKG Rahate (IAS:1990:JH) has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Justice, Ministry of Law & Justice. Presently, he is Additional Secretary, Ministry of Power.

The Appointment Committee (ACC) has also approved the in-situ upgradation of the following officers to the level of Special Secretary in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India as a measure personal to them by temporarily upgrading the posts held by them.

Vijoy Kumar Singh (IAS:1990:PB), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, has been elevated as Special Secretary.
Atul Kumar Tiwari (IAS:1990:KN), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, has been elevated as Special Secretary.
Ms. Archana Agrawal (IAS:1990:UP), Member Secretary, National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB), Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, has been elevated in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India.
Ganji Kamala V Rao (IAS:1990:KL), MD, ITDC, has been elevated in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India. Rao will continue to hold the additional charge of the post of Director-General, Tourism.
K Moses Chalai (IAS:1990:MN), Secretary, North Eastern Council Secretariat, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region has been elevated in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India.
Arun Baroka (IAS:1990:AGMUT) has been appointed as Special Secretary, Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DWS), Ministry of Jal Shakti. Presently, he is Additional Secretary, DWS.
Ms Alka Upadhyaya (lAS:1990:MP), Chairperson, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has been elevated in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India by restoring the NHAI post to Secretary level.
