S Radha Chauhan, a 1988 batch IAS of UP cadre, has been made DoPT Secretary in the Central Government. S Radha Chauhan is a senior IAS officer of UP cadre. Presently she is ACS in Uttar Pradesh Finance and Tax Department. Chauhan will soon go to Delhi on central deputation.

She came into the news when in the year 2020, after the former Chief Secretary, Finance Sanjeev Mittal became covid positive during the first phase of pandemic. Principal Secretary Technical Education S Radha Chauhan was given additional charge of Finance Department. was given. Since then, she continued to look after the work of the Finance Department.
