Bhopal: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Madhya Pradesh government on Monday night transferred 14 IAS officers, including the collectors of five major districts – Indore, Jabalpur, Katni, Barwani, and Agar Malwa. The move came just hours after the transfer of 20 IPS officers, marking a sweeping change across both civil and police services in the state.

The transfer orders were issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) and approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).

Major Reassignment in the Public Relations Department

One of the most notable changes involves the Public Relations Department.

Dr. Sudam Pandharinath Khade (IAS:2006:MP) has been relieved from his post as Public Relations Commissioner and Secretary with additional charge of MD, Madhya Pradesh Madhyam.

Deepak Kumar Saxena (IAS:2010:MP), formerly Collector, Jabalpur, has been appointed as OSD-cum-Commissioner, Public Relations, Bhopal with additional charge as MD, Madhya Pradesh Madhyam.

Dr. Khade will now serve as Commissioner, Indore Division.

New Appointments in Key Administrative Posts

Deepak Singh (IAS:2007:MP): Transferred from Commissioner, Indore Division to OSD-cum-Secretary, MP State Election Commission, Bhopal.

Abhishek Singh (IAS:2009:MP): From State Election Commission to Secretary, Home Department.

Ashish Singh (IAS:2010:MP): From Collector, Indore to OSD-cum-Commissioner, Ujjain Division, with Simhastha Mela Ujjain as additional responsibility.

Dr. Parikshit Sanjay Rao Zade (IAS:2017:MP): Becomes CEO, Indore Development Authority.

Ramprakash Ahirwar (IAS:2018:MP): Transferred as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Jabalpur.

New Collectors Appointed in 5 Districts

Five key districts will now have new collectors, as part of this reshuffle

  • Shivam Verma, an IAS officer of 2013 batch, has been appointed as the new Collector of Indore. He previously served as the Commissioner of Indore Municipal Corporation and Additional Managing Director of MP Metro.
  • Raghavendra Singh, also an IAS officer of 2013 batch, has taken charge as the new Collector of Jabalpur, after serving as the Collector of Agar Malwa.
  • 2016 batch IAS officer Ashish Tiwari has been appointed as the Collector of Katni. He was earlier posted as the Deputy Secretary in the Chief Secretary’s Office.
  • Jayati Singh, also an IAS officer of 2016 batch, is now the Collector of Barwani, previously working as the CEO of Zila Panchayat in Ujjain.
  • 2016 batch IAS officer Preeti Yadav has assumed the role of Collector in Agar Malwa, having earlier served as the Commissioner of Jabalpur Municipal Corporation.

Dileep Kumar Yadav (IAS:2014): From Collector, Katni to Commissioner, Indore Municipal Corporation with additional charge of MP Metro Rail Company Limited.

Ghuncha Sanobar (IAS:2015): From Collector, Barwani to Deputy Secretary, Secretariat.
