The Punjab Government issued an order for additional charges for 10 IAS officers. The Government ordered for these additional charges to carry on the duties for the IAS officers who are busy in the election duties.
Mr. Kumar Rahul an IAS officer of 2000 batch has the present posting as Administrative Secretary, Jails will be busy in election duties. Mr. Veerendra Kumar Meena, an IAS officer of 1997 busy has been given the additional charge for Administrative Secretary, Jails in addition to his present duties.
Similarly Mr. Gurkirat Kirpal Singh an IAS officer of 2001 batch has been the additional duties of Mr. Dilraj Singh an IAS officer of 2005 batch. Mr Dilraj Singh has the present charge as the Administrative Secretary, Transport and in addition Administrative Secretary, of Parliamentary Affairs.
