Tamil Nadu: 49 IAS Officers Get Promotion to Various Grades, Check Full List Here

As reward to 49 IAS officers in Tamil Nadu, the MK Stalin led state government has issued orders for their promotion.

The government has elevated these officers of various batches to different grades.

The decision was taken during a meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), presided over by the state Chief Secretary.

The name of the officers of 2000 batch, promoted to Principal Secretary rank, are –

  1. G Prakash, Principal Secretary/Additional Commissioner, Revenue Department, Chennai.
  2. Anil Meshram, Principal Secretary/Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Minerals Limited, Chennai.

The officers of 2008 batch, promoted to the Super Time Scale, are –

  1. Mariam Pallavi Baldev, Special Secretary, Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce Department, Chennai-9.
  2. Sajjansingh R Chavan, Director, Census Operations/Citizen Registration, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, Chennai. (Proforma Promotion)
  3. Prashant M Wadnere, Special Secretary, Finance Department, Chennai-9.
