Telangana: 16 IAS Transferred, Arvind Kumar Made Special Chief Secy, Revenue; M Dana Kishore, Principal Secy, Municipal Administration

In a big administrative reshuffle in Telangana, the newly elected Revanth Reddy government has transferred and posted 16 IAS officers.

1991 batch IAS officer Arvind Kumar has been transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary, Revenue (Disaster Management), relieving Rahul Bojja. He was posted as Special Chief Secretary, Municipal Administration & Urban Development, and also holding full additional charge as Metropolitan Commissioner, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) and Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration (FAC).

1996 batch IAS officer M Dana Kishore, who was serving as Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) Managing Director, has been posted as Principal Secretary, Municipal Administration & Urban Development. He will also hold full additional charges of the posts of Metropolitan Commissioner, HMDA and Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration.

1995 batch IAS officer B Venkatesham, Principal Secretary of the BC welfare department, has been posted as Education department Principal Secretary relieving Vakati Karuna from the full additional charge of the post. Mr. Venkatesham will also hold the full additional charge as Collegiate Education Commissioner.

1995 batch IAS officer A Vani Prasad has been posted as the Principal Secretary in the Environment, Forests, Science & Technology Department, relieving Santhi Kumari, who was holding full additional charge. Mr Prasad was Principal Secretary, Transport.

Secretary to Government, R&B, KS Sreenivasa Raju, an IAS officer of 1999 batch, will now be Secretary, Transport.

Rahul Bojja, Secretary to CM has been transferred and posted as Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD), relieving V. Sheshadri from the full additional charge.

2004 batch IAS officer Dr TK Sreedevi, Secretary, Finance, is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, in place of Dr. Christina Z. Chongthu. The government has reinstated Sreedevi, who was transferred by the Election Commission in October.

Dr. Chongthu is transferred and posted as Secretary, Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department. Secretary, Municipal Affairs and Urban Development, Sudharshan Reddy is transferred and posted as Managing Director, HMWSSB in place of Dana Kishore.

District Magistrate, Nalgonda, RV Karnan is transferred and posted as Director, Health & Family Welfare.
