With merely weeks to go ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, the government of Uttar Pradesh mandated the reshuffling of 7 IAS officers across various departments in the state.
Mr. Ujjwal Kumar (2012 batch IAS officer), the incumbent DM of Firozabad, has been mandated to assume office as the Special Secretary in the Department of MSME, replacing Mr. Arun Prakash (another 2012 batch IAS officer), who was posted as the Special Secretary in the Department of Urban Development instead.
Mr. Ramesh Ranjan (2013 batch IAS), the incumbent Mission Director of the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission, replaces Mr. Kumar as the new DM of Firozabad.
Mr. Gaurav Verma (2014 batch IAS), the incumbent Special Secretary of Youth Welfare, has now been mandated to assume office as the Special Secretary of Secretariat Administration. Mr. Shesh Nath (2012 batch IAS), presently serving as the Special Secretary in the Department of Sugarcane Development, was made Special Secretary in the Department of Public Works.
Ms. Isha Priya (2016 batch IAS), the incumbent Additional Registrar (Administration) in the Cooperative department, was transferred as the Special Secretary in the Department of Tourism, while Mr. Atal Rai (2010 batch IAS) was bestowed with the charge of the Director of Panchayati Raj.
