In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi Adityanath led state government has transferred and posted 9 IAS and two senior PCS officers.
2012 batch IAS officer Rajesh Kumar Pandey has been made the new DM of Jalaun. He was serving as Special Secretary, Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch and Joint Managing Director, Jal Nigam Rural. Incumbent Jalaun DM and 2013 batch IAS officer Chandni Singh is going on maternity leave.
Markandeya Shahi, an IAS officer of 2009 batch, has been appointed as the Acting Labour Commissioner. He was posted as Special Secretary Food and Logistics and Controller Legal Metrology Department. Before this, the additional charge of Labour Commissioner, Kanpur was with the Divisional Commissioner of Kanpur. Mr Shahi will be promoted to the level of Commissioner and Secretary in January 2025.
2017 batch IAS officer and Additional Commissioner and Divisional Food Controller Gorakhpur, Ms. Anuj Malik, has been posted as Divisional Food Controller and has also been given the responsibility of Officer on Special Duty in Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority.
2012 batch IAS officer and CDO of Basti, Rajesh Kumar Prajapati has been made Special Secretary in the Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch. While 2020 batch IAS officer and Joint Magistrate Varanasi, Mr. Jaidev CS has been made the new CDO of Basti.
2020 batch IAS officer and Joint Magistrate Gorakhpur, Ms. Neha Bandhu has been made the CDO of Mainpuri.
Pratyush Pandey, an IAS officer of 2020 batch and Joint Magistrate Bareilly, has been made CDO of Deoria.
While 2010 batch IAS officer and Chief Secretary’s Staff Officer, Mr. Divya Prakash Giri has been made Special Secretary of Excise.
2011 batch IAS officer and Special Secretary Excise, Mr. Uday Bhanu Tripathi, has been given the responsibility of Special Secretary, Housing and Urban Planning.
Among the two PCS officers, Deoria CDO Ravindra Kumar has been made Staff Officer of the Chief Secretary. Mainpuri CDO Vinod Kumar has been made Special Secretary in the Public Works Department. Both these officers may soon be promoted to IAS cadre. DPC for their promotion has been done.
