In a recent development, 2007 batch IAS officer Moumita Godara Basu, the incumbent Secretary in the Department of Health & Family Welfare, has been appointed as the District Magistrate, Jhargram, replacing Mr. Sunil Agarwala (WBCS executive).
Ms. Basu earlier served as the DM of Jalpaiguri.
