3-Day IAS Service Meet 2025 Ends on a High Note: Green Team Tops Overall, Cyclothon Highlights Finale

Bhopal: The three-day IAS Service Meet 2025 concluded on Sunday in Bhopal with the announcement of final results, culminating in the Green Team emerging as the overall champion. The team was led by Additional Chief Secretary Ashok Barnwal (IAS:1991:MP).

The meet witnessed enthusiastic participation from IAS officers and their families, blending sports, recreation, and cultural engagement beyond official responsibilities.

Team-wise Leadership and Final Standings

IAS officers were divided into four teams, each led by senior officers:

  • Green Team: Led by Additional Chief Secretary Ashok Barnwal (IAS:1991:MP)
  • Red Team: Led by Chief Secretary Anurag Jain (IAS:1989:MP)
  • Orange Team: Headed by Additional Chief Secretary Sanjay Shukla (IAS:1994:MP)
  • Blue Team: Led by Principal Secretary Raghavendra Singh (IAS:1997:MP)

After completion of all competitive events, the final points tally stood as follows:

  • Green Team – 160 points (1st place)
  • Red Team – 154 points (2nd place)
  • Orange Team – 126 points (3rd place)
  • Blue Team – 116 points (4th place)
  • Cyclothon Marks the Grand Finale

The highlight of the final day was an 18-kilometre cyclothon, symbolizing fitness and camaraderie. The route began at Arera Club, passed through the Chief Minister’s residence, and covered Van Vihar National Park.

Around 40 IAS officers and their family members participated in the event.

Cyclothon Results:

  • First Place: Pariki Pandla Akshar – 38 minutes
  • Second Place: Shivraj Singh Verma and Abhay Singh (joint) – 45 minutes
  • Third Place: Ishan Suman Singh – 47 minutes

Boat Race Adds Thrill on Day Two

The second day of the meet featured a 200-metre boat race at the Boat Club, Upper Lake, drawing loud cheers amid DJ music and high energy.

Boat Race Results:

  • Green Boat – Winner
  • Orange Boat – Second
  • Red Boat – Third
  • Blue Boat – Fourth

In the second round, competition was intense, with Blue Boat finishing narrowly ahead at 55.30 seconds, followed closely by Green Boat at 55.55 seconds.

A Celebration Beyond Administration

Inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the IAS Service Meet 2025 featured a wide range of activities including sports events, cultural programmes, boat races, cooking competitions, and family-centric engagements. Family members participated in large numbers, adding to the festive atmosphere.

The event successfully provided a platform for IAS officers to unwind, connect, and foster teamwork, reinforcing leadership and camaraderie beyond administrative duties.
