Mussoorie/Jodhpur: A group of ten trainee IAS officers from the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, will arrive in Jodhpur for a 10-day training programme beginning February 10. The programme is part of their Winter Study Tour, aimed at providing hands-on exposure to grassroots governance and urban administration.
Focus on Municipal Policies, Challenges, and Urban Governance
During their stay, the trainee officers will closely observe the policies, operational framework, and administrative challenges of the Jodhpur Municipal Corporation. The training will allow them to gain firsthand experience in urban local governance, municipal service delivery, and project implementation at the city level.

Deputy Commissioner Mohanlal Assigned Programme Responsibility
The Jodhpur Municipal Corporation has entrusted the responsibility of coordinating and overseeing the training programme to Deputy Commissioner (Projects) Mohanlal. He will ensure the smooth conduct of the programme and facilitate interactions between the trainees and municipal officials.
Part of LBSNAA Winter Study Tour
The trainee IAS officers are currently undergoing foundational training at LBSNAA, Mussoorie, and have been deputed to various locations across the country as part of their Winter Study Tour. Jodhpur is one of the selected destinations where trainees will study local governance systems in depth.
Ten-Day Attachment with Municipal Corporation
As part of the tour, the trainee officers will be attached to the Jodhpur Municipal Corporation for 10 days, starting February 10. During this period, they will study municipal functioning, decision-making processes, civic infrastructure management, and policy implementation at the urban local body level.
