The IRS Association regularly interacts with the government to strengthen tax administration and improve working conditions within the Income Tax Department. It advocates for policies that enhance administrative efficiency while safeguarding the interests and safety of officers.

On certain occasions, the association has also taken principled stands on issues concerning the service, including matters related to officer safety and systemic challenges.

New Leadership to Steer the Association Forward

With the election of the new office bearers, the association is expected to continue its engagement with the government and CBDT, focusing on welfare, professional excellence, and constructive policy dialogue in an evolving tax administration environment.
