New Delhi: The government has announced the premature repatriation of Surendra Singh Yadav, an IPS officer of the 1997 AGMUT cadre. Yadav, who was serving as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Border Security Force (BSF), has been returned to his parent cadre ahead of his scheduled tenure. The decision comes as part of routine administrative reshuffling within the Indian Police Service and paramilitary leadership.
Jawed Ashraf Appointed Chairman of India Trade Promotion Organization
In another key move, Jawed Ashraf, a retired IFS officer of the 1991 batch, has been appointed as Chairman of the India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO). The appointment is for a period of two years on a contract basis at Level-17 of the Pay Matrix.
Ashraf’s extensive diplomatic experience is expected to strengthen India’s international trade and promotional activities through ITPO, which plays a crucial role in organizing trade fairs, exhibitions, and business promotion initiatives both domestically and globally.
