New Delhi: World Defence Show 2026 will see India taking a major global defence spotlight as the country strengthens its push for defence indigenisation and exports. The event will also feature the first-ever India Pavilion, highlighting India’s growing defence manufacturing capabilities and advanced military technologies.

India to Participate in World Defence Show 2026

According to the Ministry of Defence, India will participate in the 3rd World Defence Show (WDS) 2026, scheduled from February 8 to 9, 2026, in Saudi Arabia.

The Indian delegation will be led by the Raksha Rajya Mantri, who will head a high-level official delegation representing India’s defence manufacturing and armed forces sectors.

The event is expected to host over 700 exhibitors and nearly 400 official delegations from across the world, making it one of the most important defence exhibitions globally.

First-Ever India Pavilion at World Defence Show 2026

A major highlight of India’s participation will be the inauguration of the first-ever India Pavilion at the World Defence Show.

The pavilion will be spread across 400 square meters and will showcase India’s progress in:

Indian Defence PSUs to Display Advanced Systems

Several leading Indian public sector defence companies will exhibit their flagship products at the India Pavilion, including:

  • (AVNL)
  • (AWEIL)
  • (MIL)
  • (BEL)
  • (IOL)
  • (BDL)
  • (YIL)

These companies will display products such as:

  • Main battle tanks
  • Artillery gun systems
  • Missile platforms
  • Ammunition systems
  • Radars and electronic warfare equipment

Strengthening India–Saudi Defence Cooperation

On the sidelines of World Defence Show 2026, bilateral meetings are planned between the Indian Raksha Rajya Mantri and his Saudi Arabian counterpart.

The discussions will focus on:

  • Defence cooperation
  • Industrial collaboration
  • Joint manufacturing opportunities
  • Technology partnerships

The Indian delegation will also interact with Saudi defence industry bodies to explore long-term industrial partnerships.
