New Delhi: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IndianOil), in collaboration with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and sound-based technology provider ToneTag, has launched India’s first integrated in-car fuel payment solution at IndianOil retail outlets for Tata cars.
The new service allows customers to make fuel payments directly through the infotainment dashboard of their connected vehicle, eliminating the need to use separate payment methods during refuelling.
The initiative brings together vehicle connectivity and digital payments to provide customers with a more convenient and seamless fuel-payment experience.
IndianOil Launches In-Car Fuel Payment Solution
The new solution has been launched at IndianOil retail outlets and initially targets connected vehicle platforms across the Tata Motors passenger vehicle portfolio.
Through the integrated system, customers can initiate and complete fuel payments directly from their vehicle’s dashboard while refuelling.
The solution is aimed at making the payment process faster and more convenient while reducing the need for customers to switch between different payment methods.
