Navi Mumbai/Kolkata: Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) Ltd., a Navratna defence public sector undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Defence, has been conferred the ‘Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar’ in the Public Sector Undertakings category for 2025–26.
The award has been given by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, in recognition of GRSE’s outstanding implementation and effective use of Official Language Hindi.
GRSE Receives Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar
The prestigious award was presented during the Hindi Diwas celebrations and the Sixth All India Official Language Conference held in Navi Mumbai on September 14, 2026.
Cmde PR Hari, IN (Retd.), Chairman and Managing Director of GRSE, received the award from Amit Shah, Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation.
The recognition highlights GRSE’s continued efforts towards promoting the use of Hindi across its official activities and strengthening the implementation of the Official Language policy.
