Bhopal: Infosys has inaugurated a new software development block at its campus in Indore, with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav virtually addressing the launch from his residence in Bhopal.
Yadav described Indore as a growing technology hub and said the city’s entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem is contributing to Madhya Pradesh’s economic development.
New Infosys Software Development Block Inaugurated
The newly inaugurated facility has been described by the state government as a state-of-the-art software development block at the Infosys establishment in Indore.

Yadav said Indore has skilled workforce and world-class infrastructure and highlighted the city’s capabilities in entrepreneurship, technology and innovation.

- Entrepreneurship and innovation
- Digital transformation opportunities
MP Highlights Technology and Digital Innovation
Yadav said Madhya Pradesh is developing its technology and knowledge-based economy.
He highlighted several initiatives and facilities in the state, including:
- Semiconductor Policy-2025
- IIT and IIM in Indore
- IT Park in Indore
- Plans to develop Ujjain as a science city
- Plans to develop Bhopal as a knowledge and AI city
- PM MITRA Park in Dhar district
According to the Chief Minister, the PM MITRA Park is being developed across more than 2,000 acres, with various units expected to use modern technologies.
Focus on Technology and Skill Development
Yadav also referred to national initiatives including the Semiconductor Mission, IndiaAI Mission and National Broadband Mission, while highlighting the role of technology and skill development in the country’s development.
He congratulated Infosys officials on the development of the new Indore facility.
