Tech for Public Safety and Traffic Management

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted the importance of AI in modern governance, stating:

“This advanced cybersecurity technology will help in providing citizens with instant, accurate information. It is a milestone for Indore and will greatly benefit public safety and traffic efficiency.

The CM also noted that Indore is the first city in Madhya Pradesh to launch such an AI-driven initiative and assured that the chatbot’s scope would be expanded to other domains of policing and service delivery in the future.

Police Commissioner Explains the Technology

Indore Police Commissioner Santosh Singh explained the functioning of the chatbot, noting that:

“This AI-based chatbot leverages open-source intelligence to assist users. It allows citizens to ask questions or issue commands via typing or speaking, offering an easy interface for interaction with the police.”

He added that the initial focus will be on traffic and public safety, but the platform has potential for integration with other police services and departments.

Indore Sets a Digital Policing Benchmark

With this launch, Indore continues to set the pace in smart city innovations, combining AI, cybersecurity, and citizen-centric services into one digital platform. The move aligns with the broader goals of Digital India and smart governance, placing Madhya Pradesh on the map for technology-driven public service delivery.
