The Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh continues its reshuffling process, entrusting honest and efficient officers with significant responsibilities. Mr. Ashish Srivastava, a 2013-batch IPS officer, has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Central in Lucknow Police Commissionerate.

This appointment follows the transfer of Ms. Raveena Tyagi, a 2014-batch IPS officer, who previously held the position and has now been posted in the Information and Security Department. Since her transfer, the DCP Central post had been vacant.
Mr. Ashish Srivastava has held several key positions throughout his career, including:
- Superintendent of Police (SP) in Shravasti, Sonbhadra, and Basti
- DCP (Traffic) and DCP (East) in Lucknow Police Commissionerate
- DCP in Kanpur Police Commissionerate
His return to Lucknow Police Commissionerate follows the March 4 transfer of eight IPS officers in Uttar Pradesh, where his name was also included.
