New Delhi: Guriqbal Singh (IPS: 2012: AGMUT) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs for a four-year term. The appointment comes after the Ministry of Home Affairs recommended Singh for central deputation.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday, Singh will serve in this capacity for four years under the Central Staffing Scheme, effective from the date he assumes charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
